As a teacher/mentor, I support not only teaching design, composition, values, and techniques but I also encourage each student to find what they are passionate to paint. Together we explore the power of the image and the many ways to use pastels. I work to empower each student at their level of skill and creativity and encourage each to blossom individually. My workshops include plein air and studio/indoor. I begin with a demonstration, then support each student at their easel and finish with a critique.
